Controlling ethylene throughout the process :
At the time of harvesting
All workers must cut their nails and wear gloves so as not to damage the fruits
At the time of store in coldstorage:
We treat the chamber of coldstorage with Smart Fresh.
SmartFresh interacts with ethylene-sensitive sites in the fruit to manage its response to internal and external ethylene sources. This puts the ripening process “on hold” so that softening and over-ripening occur much more slowly.
At the time of Sorting and Packing:
We pour kiwis into the Nano bags and put the ethylene pouch (sachet) in basket.
At the time of dispatching:
We put Smart fresh or Ethylene curtain in the container
With penetrometer we check firmness apple and kiwi. The pressure should be more than 13 Lbf for apple and for kiwi 15Lbf
